The CDC Association administers federal, city, and private pass-through funds that are available to Community Development Corporations (CDCs). These pass-through dollars provide operating and project support on a yearly cycle and are made available through an application process open to all CDCs.
In previous years, we have annually passed through over $400,000 in operating support from federal government dollars, $225,000 in General Fund Support from the City and tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars grants from private donors to help make larger projects a reality in these communities.
For more information on these programs, please contact Denise Hamet.
CDBG and HOME Funding
CDCA manages and distributes funding from federal Community Development Block Grants and HOME Grants, as allocated by the City of Cincinnati.
Housing Down Payment Assistance Program
The CDCA is accepting applications for the CDCA Housing Down payment Assistance Program (DAP). The DAP was created with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation to distribute approximately $100,000 of down payment assistance funds in order to support the efforts of member CDCs to increase sales of property renovated or constructed by local CDCs.
