Award Nominations!

We’ve added another award category – Big League Lender!
Our banking partners are critical to making the project numbers work. Who have you been working with lately that you couldn’t live without?

We’ll be announcing our award winners and new branding concept at our November 1st awards luncheon, held at the Summit Hotel in Madisonville. Hopefully you all received the save the date I sent out the other day, but if not, you can read more and register for the event HERE.
We’re looking for your nominations for our revamped awards. Do you know someone deserving? Nominate them!
Our awards categories are:

CDC Superhero (Outstanding CDC Staffer) – The CDC staff member who consistently executes their duties, pulling together resources and community support to take projects from concept to reality.

Government Go-Getter (Outstanding Government Staffer) – It’s common for people to joke about the slow pace government activities can take, but the reality is that our City and County are filled with individuals who go above and beyond to be partners, providing guidance, advice, and bureaucratic push through. Instead of complaints, let’s show these dedicated public servants how much we appreciate their daily efforts!

Neighborhood MVP (Outstanding Volunteer) – Neighborhood activism and volunteer efforts are the real backbone of our ‘industry’. Board members spend evenings, after work, steering our organizations; activists connect us to residents out of passion for our communities and cook food, staff events, get the word out, etc. We all know that person who is unpaid, yet essential to success.

Inspired Placemaking (Outstanding Project / Collaborative Effort) – None of our work exists in a vacuum; none of us could do this alone. Do you know of a project that stands out to you in terms of its creative effect on the neighborhood? Or maybe one that pulls together a team of organizations in a creative way?

Big League Lender (Outstanding Lending Partner) – Our banking partners are critical to making the project numbers work. Who have you been working with lately that you couldn’t live without?

You Are Awesome! (Appreciation Award) – This one is a catch all for all the partners who make Cincinnati a great place to live. We couldn’t exist without our lenders, advocates, volunteers, politicians, donors, and other partners.

The nomination form link is below. Nominate for one, nominate for all! Please return to me and or Denise by September 28 for consideration. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
I can’t wait to see this year’s nominations. Reading about all the great people and efforts being made to improve this Queen City of ours has been a highlight of my time here. Let’s show them some love!
